Thinking of ways to improve the working relationship among the members of our team, our then-new team leader decided to add a "question of the week" in our regular meetings, in which we are all required to answer the questions however silly they might be. I do admit that I find the questions (and the answers!) enjoyable. We've shared what superpower we'd like to have, which celebrity we'd like to date, which three movies we liked a lot, even the kitchen item we would consider ourselves to be.
Last week's question was "If given a complete freedom to start afresh, what profession would you choose and why?" A lot on interesting answers: chef slash food critic, doctor, winery owner, painter, cash registrar, and a fashion designer (from a totally-non-gay-and-married guy). My answer: professional hip-hop dancer.
That resulted to a wistful discussion with my "painter" friend. She told me she attended painting classes every summer when she was a kid. She also took ballet classes and piano lessons. And that got me thinking how much of a loser-nerdox I was growing up.
I did take a few weeks of ballet and piano classes, but I know I preferred playing un-lady-like games with my cousins. And when I graduated from grade school, every summer then on was spent taking advanced Math and Science classes. In college, I spent every summer taking Math units. Loser!!!
How I wish I took dance lessons and tennis lessons and swimming lessons and voice lessons. The list goes on and on. Sigh.

Ally Mcbeal rocks!
The series is more than ten years old but I watch it in awe. I'm still on the 19th episode of the first season but I've already seen Liz, Taylor and Ms. Patty from Gilmore Girls, Preston Burke from Grey's Anatomy, Capt. Brass from CSI, and the whole bunch from The Practice. I am starstruck. Haha.

roger forever
I wasn't disappointed. He played very well. I'm sure his 14th title is somewhere around the corner. And until he gets it, I'll be rooting for him all the way. :-)
After the game ended, I felt faint and had Herbie take my blood pressure. And, of course, when he cried, I cried along with him. Look at what Fed can do to me.
